Replication Data for: Neuroprotective effects of N-acetylcysteine-amide (AD4) in a Survival Mouse Model of Paraoxon Intoxication: Targeting Oxidative Stress, Neuroinflammation and Memory Impair-ments

This study aims to assess the neuroprotective effect of AD4 against organophosphate-induced neurotoxicity. Experiments were conducted in a murine model that survives paraoxon exposure. Animals received either serum or AD4 as post-treatment therapy. Behavioral assessments were performed several days...

Experiments were conducted in a murine model that survives paraoxon exposure. Animals received either serum or AD4 as post-treatment therapy. Behavioral assessments were performed several days later to evaluate motor activity (HLA) and memory (NORT). Following euthanasia, proteins were extracted from distinct brain regions to analyze the expression of GPX, catalase, and lipid peroxidation marker 4-HNE. Additional animals were perfused, and brain sections were processed for immunohistochemical quantification of GFAP and IBA-1. The results demonstrate that AD4 26 mitigates oxidative stress, neuroinflammation, and cognitive dysfunction following acute paraoxon intoxication.CORA.Repositori de Dades de RecercaEscubedo Rafa, Elena2025info:eu-repo/semantics/datasethttps://doi.org/10.34810/DATA2785reponame:CORA.Repositori de Dades de Recercainstname:Consorci de Serveis Universitaris de Catalunya (CSUC)Inglésinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessCC BY 4.0oai:dnet:cora.rdr____::4f18b4c7a669f1e58a002df8273a56c52026-06-17T12:20:17Z
