| Sumario: | [EN] The space of the sacristy, as an archetype with sufficient dialectical autonomy, may be able to reveal part of the design logic of the ensemble to which it serves. Understood as fragments of a whole, the sacristies evaluate the organizational logic of the integral functional program of the temple; but understood since independence and from a language of their own, they are good samples to discover the ideas that the authors want to leave patents through their architectures. It seems natural to find Vandelvira in this area, since we can make a good approximation to his architectural thinking from the review of some of the solutions tested in certain projects. This is the case in the Sacristy of the Jaen Cathedral, the Sacristy of the Chapel of El Salvador in Ubeda, or in other constructions with similar influences, as is the case, for example, in the Santiago Hospital or the Chapel for Ortega Dean in the Church of St. Nicolas of Bari, both in Úbeda and, due to formal similarity, also in the proposals of Huelma, La Guardia, Linares or Villacarrillo. |
