| Resumo: | The aim of this paper is to provide some reflections on the relationships between the Ottomans, the Berbers of Algiers and the Moors of Granada during the War of Alpujarras in the days of King Philip II. It is to note how, in an atmosphere of hostility and conflict between the two sides of the strait, three major Mediterranean cities (Istanbul, Algiers and Granada) maintained very strong relationships during the period of the war of Granada (1568-1570). |
