| Sumario: | This paper analyzes the Spanish foreign policy towards Algeria through data collected in the "Database of Foreign Policy" (BDPEX), a new tool for the analysis of Spanish foreign rela ons developed by the Study Group on Arab and Muslim Socie es (GRESAM) at the University of Cas lla-La Mancha. The data show that energy interests have been the core issue in the bilateral agenda. The analysis of different BDPEX indicators also show that the more poli cal issues, the Western Sahara conflict and the emergence of poli cal Islam, have less weight than others topics, such as immigra on and the fight against terrorism |
