Designing and dimensioning networks according to traffic needs
Nowadays network traffic is rapidly increasing, forcing operators to adapt optical networks accordingly. This poses a series of problems in order to reduce costs. In this context, this thesis presents two of these problems. They are formally modeled and their solutions are evaluated by simulation
