The second stage (—226 ky) are also a botton-valley travertine located at +8 —10 m. over Ruguilla river. Along Cifuentes river botton-valley and water-fall travertines has been dated as —90 ky. Subrecent travertine deposits of detrital, dam, water-fall types has been attributed to holocene epoch. Radiogenic data of these subrecent travertines has not been in account because uranium lixiviation and «detrital thorium» incorporation of travertine deposits may give a relative Th-230 enrichment and coherently the calculation of too great an ageLos datos de proporciones Th-230/U-234 and U-234/U-238 y características geomorfológicas y sedimentológicas de varios depósitos travertinos del valle del Alto Tajo permiten señalar la evidencia de, al menos, cuatro etapas de génesis travertina. La primera, > 350 ky, y se ha interpretado como depósito travertino al final del valle, localizado a lo largo del río Dulce y el valle del río Ruguilla. La segunda etapa (~ 226 ky) también es un travertino al final del valle ubicado a +8 —10 m sobre el río Ruguilla. A lo largo del río Cifuentes, se han fechado ~90 ky los travertinos del final del valle y las cascadas. Los depósitos de travertino subrecientes de tipo detrítico, presa y cascada se han atribuido a la edad holocena.
