Descripción
Sumario:[EN]Paleobotanic Data on the presence of Brassicaceae seeds in the northwest of the iberian peninsula.-Among seeds collected from an early Bronze Age pit dated at the beginning of the second millenium B.C. and located in central Galicia (N.W. Iberian Peninsula) there was a predominance of Brassicaceae which probably belonged to cultivated species and which have been carbon-dated in the period 4.880 +- 80 B.P. Among various hypotheses regarding the use of the pit that are discussed in the light of these and ethnographic data the most likely seems to be that it was used for waste disposal.
