The invention also relates to a probiotic or biotherapeutic product which contains the strain of L. reuteri and is suitable for use in the treatment or prophylaxis of gastric diseases caused by the Helicobacter pylori bacteria, in order to prevent the secondary effects associated with conventional antibiotic treatments.[ES] La presente invención trata de una nueva cepa de Lactobacillus reuteri aislada del estómago humano, que presenta actividad antioxidativa y antimicrobiana, en especial efecto anti-Helicobacter, una considerable supervivencia a las condiciones del ecosistema gástrico y capacidad de adherencia al epitelio.
