Descripción
Sumario:The excavations in the 1970s in the Mollet III cave uncovered the oldest human remains in Catalonia found in a funerary context. Ten years of excavations led by the University of Girona (2013-2022) have yielded at least three Palaeolithic individuals, another from the Epipaleolithic chronology and dozens from the late Neolithic-Chalcolithic, becoming this small site a privileged place to study human remains from a cultural and biological perspective
