Sumario:[EN] The concept of distant reading and theories of Franco Moretti is reviewed. Its implications are analyzed in order to the teaching of literature, which is changing focus and investment methodologies to focusing on the uniqueness of the work literature, to make way for a quantitative perception and focuses more on the recognition of textual patterns that the proper study of intensive reading
