Descripción
Sumario:From the analysis fo the distributional context (kind of verbe and kind of places designated by the syntagm) concerning the spatial meaning of the prepositions ex, ab and de in Livy, the author proposes a complementary explanation, in accordance with the traditional one, that would be able to explain constructions such as ex utraque ripa positis, not understandable in the usual terms of «exit» or «removal». According to this, ex can be explained sometimes in terms of «procedencia diversa» and ab and de as «procedencia simple».
