This case study is based on the creation of a Twitter account for a course within the fourth year of the university degree in Audiovisual Communication at the Universitas Miguel Hernández (Spain). The qualitative research, conducted over several years, validates the progression of each student year group from a passive role to a more engaged role, in which they found themselves involved in the creation of high quality audiovisual material and developed a critical concern over their own works.
