Sumario:The archaeological works done in the apse of the Dominican Convent in Castelló d'Empúries (Alt Empordà, Girona) brought to light an exceptional collection made up of more than 6.000 pieces of pottery, thrown in order to build an embankment before 1512. Among the several items retrieved, the monochrome glazed pottery stood out both of its quantity and homogeneity, and thus it has become the central theme of the present study. Th is paper analyses the diff erent documented forms (bowls, plates, jugs, pots, lids...), which have been organized into functional categories and struc-tured according to the diff erent types
