Descripción
Sumario:The Extended Timing Annotation Dataset (ETAD) for Copernicus Sentinel-1 is a new auxiliary product developed by ESA (with DLR as contractor), providing users with corrections to improve geometric accuracy of Sentinel-1 SLC images to centimetric levels. The product contains analysis-ready layers for removing the atmospheric path delays, the solid Earth tidal deformation, and the Sentinel-1 system specific effects related to the Instrument Processing Facilities (IPF) SAR processor. The main goal of this project is to evaluate the correct compensation of the tropospheric component of the data from the TRE-Altamira processing chain (PS-DInSAR techniques) using the ETAD data, obtained from the Geohazards Exploitation Platform (online platform from ESA, provided by Terradue). To do so, there are 3 main big blocks: Extraction and obtaining of the ETAD data, particularly the tropospheric component, processing the ETAD data to be compliant with the data of the TRE-Altamira processing chain and at the end, compensate the tropospheric component to have better quality in terms of coherence of the measurement points (MP) and the connections between them.
