| Sumario: | his dataset gives information on sardine eggs and larval abundances at different layers of the water column in the southern Catalan coast in February 1997. This research was based on a Lagrangian experiment using stratified hauls to study the vertical distributions of Sardina pilchardus eggs and larvae at different times of day in the water parcel tracked by several hydrographic buoys.
