| Sumario: | [EN] Few interventions in the last years have raised such a degree of polemic as the one performed on the head of this Cathedral. The main cause of this polemic was the shifting of the splendid Altarpiece by Damián Forment from the Main Chapel to Christ’s Chapel. In the pages that follow, the architect in charge of the refurbishment considers general restoration criteria and explains in detail the circumstances and reasons that justify moving the altarpiece and the ensuing restoration, weighing up the pros and cons of the intervention. |
