Description
Summary:[EN] This article comes from the phase of review of the state of the art of the project of doctoral thesis Voices, Bodies and Objects. Possibilities of the gaze, representation and presence in the scenographic design, towards collaborative projects of the contemporary scenic space. This investigation centers its analysis on the possibilities of the material and immaterial sensitive image, the look and the presence in the scenographic design, towards contemporary collaborative projects, relating pedagogical experiences as the one of the Opera Workshop -in its last years- of the Faculty of Integrated Arts of the Universidad del Valle in Cali - Colombia with other pedagogical bets in the Polytechnic University of Valencia - Spain, and professional experiences of groups that develop their scenic productions and collaborative strategies in the contemporary scenic space in Colombia and Spain. Starting from these experiences, we want to delve into conceptual and methodological elements of artistic creation, relating the living arts with the scenographic design, understood from the problem of vision, spatial and temporal representation and the presence that this suggests in the scenic production current. Combining the theory with artistic practice, a stage production is proposed collectively, on the development of new audiovisual strategies based on animation for live shows, with the intention of developing collective creation techniques for the production of a show called INCUBO. Through these strategies, staging formulas will be investigated in an interdisciplinary way with the aim of enriching stage creation. The methodological commitment therefore, under project methods, estimates the design of collective creation strategies, combined with qualitative research methodologies in social sciences and humanities as ways of approaching reality, to observe and relate subjectivities and intersubjectivities in social phenomena, cultural and political within the contemporary scene. The conceptual position of this research, includes the modes of representation (spatial, immaterial, material, temporal) and the differentiated modalities of the image (two-dimensional, three-dimensional, discursive, kinetic, static, scenic, sound) as the initial factor of convergence. Visual studies address notions about perception, look, presence; the visual, plastic and symbolic language. And from the artistic research in the scenic production, the hybridization of languages within the framework of some artistic practices. These notions start from understanding the scenario as the place that invites to be inhabited and constructed symbolically and that relates both to the creative subject and to the spectator subject. The expected result of this research is a document that reflects on the narrative and aesthetic possibilities of representation in the stage space in two moments: a theoretical one of what it does, can and / or should do the scenographic design based on notions in abstract, dialoguing with the experiences already lived in the opera workshop and a cartography about the creative work of some Valencian collectives; and another, where from this reflection / systematization, an experimental scenographic proposal is made, which strengthens the construction of an own look.
