Sumario:Traditionally, an athlete´s physical training has been developed independently of the playing style or manner in which the team performs from a motor point of view. In the present study, the need to structure training of physical qualities simultaneously and in synch with the technical and tactical training is justified, depending on the specific needs of our players and in relation to the playing style. These needs are obtained through systematic observation of spatial, temporal, and motor skills variables that affect performance of the players in the team style. The aim is to consider the observation of athletic performance as the backbone of the training process. This process is properly adjusted to phases of the sport planning process where all members of the coaching staff should participate. At the end of article, we provide a brief example of how to establish the loads to be used and the design of the exercises from data obtained from the use of Match Analysis
