Sumario:I will present the physics potential of the coherent elastic neutrino-nucleus scattering (CEνNS) process. I will first briefly review the status of current observations. Then, I will comment on their implications for both precision tests of the Standard Model and for new physics in the neutrino sector. Finally, I will discuss the relevance of these measurements for direct dark matter detection probes.
