Descripción
Sumario:[EN] This paper describes and analyzes the use of the Libro de agricultura (1513), wich was the first geoponic volume written in a Romance language, in the Diccionario de Autoridades. Since the author made different changes in the text throughout the six editions that he could prepare, and that some reprints made later present a rather distorted text and various deletions, determining which testimony was chosen for making the lexical selection will be attempted. For this, the voices accredited from the Herrerian treatise are identified, classified and studied, which shows how their selection was made and shows a series of errors that gave rise to false attributions and, also, to certain bogus words and meanings. It contributes, in this way, to deepen the lexicographical method followed by the first academics, although from a text and terms that have received practically no attention until the present moment.
