Sumario:During the period between the World Wars mass media suffered a redical trasformation. The effects of the excess of propaganda in World War I changed the relationship between public and media. The radio was born in this moment and suddenly became very popular. This study outlines the relationship between the delevelop of the media in Spain and USA. It tries also to describe the links between Spanish and American mass media, over all in the case of news agencies. Advertising, newsreels, press and the training of joumalists too, are other aspets of this study.
