Sumario:Santa Cecilia Norte stands as a testament to both the resilience and challenges faced by urban communities. This neighborhood, born out of necessity and shaped by decades of unplanned growth, now faces a complex set of problems. It is divided by territorial tensions, marked by a lack of infrastructure, and haunted by the shadows of violence. This TFM embarks on a journey to address these issues and chart a path towards renewal. It seeks to prevent further urban sprawl into the fragile mountainside while fostering a stronger connection between the city and nature. Through a careful reconfiguration of borders and the integration of endangered residents, it aims to create a more equitable community. The scars left by environmental degradation will be healed, and the landscape will be preserved. In parallel, the project aims to create a vibrant community that not only survives but thrives. It introduces educational and recreational opportunities, economic ventures, and spaces for contemplation. By empowering residents with new possibilities and embracing the natural beauty of the Cerros Orientales. The significance of this transformation goes beyond the boundaries of Santa Cecilia Norte. It is a response to the socio-economic disparities that characterize the larger Usaquén district. Here, the richest and poorest coexist, separated by an invisible line that determines the availability of resources and opportunities. In recognizing the importance of equitable urban development, this project aims to bridge this gap, creating a more inclusive community. Finally, the project acknowledges the ecological importance of the Cerros Orientales. These mountains, home to diverse biodiversity and providers of essential services, must be protected. Building on their steep slopes poses dangers of landslides, which further underscores the need for responsible development.
