A medida que la preocupación por la sostenibilidad sigue aumentando en todo el mundo, las organizaciones reconocen cada vez más el imperativo de adoptar prácticas respetuosas con el medio ambiente en sus procesos de fabricación. Esta investigación pretende identificar y analizar los trabajos clave, las tendencias de investigación y los patrones temáticos relacionados con la fabricación ecológica en la gestión de operaciones. Mediante un análisis bibliométrico, este estudio examina una amplia gama de publicaciones académicas, centrándose en artículos de revistas de la web of science. El análisis se centra en parámetros como la producción de publicaciones, los patrones de citación, las redes de colaboración y la co-ocurrencia de palabras clave. Mediante el empleo de técnicas bibliométricas avanzadas, como el análisis de citas, el análisis de co-citaciones y el análisis de co-palabras clave, esta investigación identifica autores influyentes, revistas destacadas y grupos de investigación prominentes en el campo. Los resultados de este análisis bibliométrico arrojan luz sobre la evolución de la investigación en "Green Manufacturing" dentro de la gestión de operaciones a lo largo del tiempo. Revela los trabajos de investigación más influyentes y proporciona información sobre la estructura intelectual y el panorama temático del campo. Además, este estudio descubre tendencias de investigación emergentes, lagunas de conocimiento y posibles direcciones de investigación futuras para académicos y profesionales interesados en la fabricación ecológica y la gestión de operaciones.
