Descripción
Sumario:Nowadays the distinction between civil and political rights and social and economic rights has no sense. Human rights are closely interconnected and show a mutual influence. There is a consensus in understanding human rights as universal, indivisible, and independent, no matter we talk about civil, political, economic, social, or cultural rights. As civil and social human rights are indivisible, the European Court of Human Rights, even if it just must protect civil human rights, has constructed a case law with social content. The ECHR has recognized the extension of the social and economic side of the civil and political rights recognized by de European Convention on Human Rights.
