| Sumario: | This article aims to discuss the strategies of resolution of the Western Sahara conflict set in motion by the different actors involved in the process since 1975, as well as to explore new conceptual and practical ways that may lead to a change of perspective in conflict management. These include an analysis of the position of the United Nations, the nature and meaning of the mandate of MINURSO, the incorporation of Morocco into the African Union or the status and role played by the Polisario Front and, in a more general sense, the Saharawi population. |
