Sumario:Recently, Fernández de la Fuente et al.1published aninteresting case associated with reactions to Dermacentormarginatus tick bite. Forty-eight hours after tick bite thecase presented an indurated lesion around the bite and a badbounded erythematous edematous plaque accompanied bya very painful bilateral palpable cervical adenopathy, ele-vated levels of some hepatic enzymes and several peaksof low-grade fever (37.8◦C). The patients tested negativefor tick-borne pathogens Rickettsia conorii and Borreliaburgdorferi.1Accordingly, the patient was diagnosed withthe spotted fever group disease tick-borne lymphadenopa-thy (TIBOLA).1
