Description
Summary:Background: The Bologna Declaration ushered in the reform of higher education in 30 countries of the European Union (EU) and led to the establishment of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), comprising 45 countries from the EU and the free trade zone of Central and Eastern Europe (van der Wende, 2000, Karseth and Dyrdal-Solbrekke, 2010). Conclusions: Although a BT is not strictly a research project that it may nonetheless be the first step towards developing and applying the skills of critical thinking, problem solving and decision making. BT also can provide a platform from which to study the day-to-day reality of healthcare provision and the problems that concern us. It is widely agreed that the future of nursing lies in the provision of high-quality care that improves health outcomes at the same time as being cost effective.
