Sumario:[EN] Rule and Norm describe the distinctive ways in which power relates with human life either in Ancient Regime or in Modernity as Foucault described it. In its Foucauldian aception biopolitics is the management of Human being as a species. More recent account by Rob-erto Esposito makes of it a biologization of politics. This article discusses the strengths on Foucault’s approach to biopolitics.
