Sumario:The response of males of the moth Grapholita molesta to sex pheromone and plant volatiles was tested under laboratory conditions in a wind tunnel. Plant volatiles did not restore low responses to a high concentration pheromone blend. Plant volatiles partially restored responses to a pheromone blend with unnatural ratios of the pheromone components. Plant volatiles and heterospecific pheromone alcohols supplanted the role of a pheromone eelnd missing the natural alcohol, Z8-12:OH. The Microsoft Excel file contains the raw data for each of the 5 wind tunnel experiments and the Microsoft Word file contains the R codes for the analysis of the raw data, and selected output from the statistical analysis.
