Sumario:[EN]The Revista Española de Documentación Científica is one of the most important journals of Library and Information Science in Spain. For this reason it is interesting to analyze the most prolific authors in this journal since they can be considered as a part of the core of scientists in Spain in this area. This essay shows data related to the output of these authors, nationality, national and international visibility and scientific co-authorship habits. Results show that university and CINDOC are the most important institutions involved in this journal. The Revista Española de Documentación Científica has an important geographical influence restricted to Spain and Latin American countries. The national and international author’s productivity analysis confirms that part of the authors publish in international journals and the rest publish in national journals.
