Descripción
Sumario:The aim of this article is to review critically one of the most difficult works of the Spanish philosopher George Santayana. In the first place I will start considering the importance of his materialistic point of view, I will then clarify the meaning of the terms psyche, Will and spirit, three crucial concepts in order to understand the text, as well as of the notions of Domination and of Power, analyzing in the last part the book’s threefold structure. I hope that this article constitutes a useful reading guide for everyone who approaches Dominations and Powers.
