For Dataset_1 columns refer to study species (Species); Year; Plant code (Plant); Flower code (Flower); Treatment (Indirect_yeast, Indirect_control, Direct_yeast, Direct_control); Fruit (1 if fruit was produced, 0 if not); Ovules_seeds (number of ovules that developed mature seeds); Ovules_NOseeds (number of ovules that did not develop mature seeds); Total_seeds_produced (Total number of seeds per fruit); Fruit_dry_weight_only_for_Lonicera (in grams). For Dataset_2 columns refer to study species (Species); Year; Plant code (Plant); Flower code (Flower); Treatment (Indirect_yeast, Indirect_control, Direct_yeast, Direct_control); and Seed_weight (individual seed weight in grams). The codes of treatments are the following: Indirect_yeast (Inoculation of flowers with 1 µL of yeast solution (Inoculation solution prepared by suspending colonies of M. reukaufii in sterile distilled water with sucrose 20% w/v, to reach a final concentration of 2×104 cells/µL). Flowers exposed to pollinators; Indirect_control: (Inoculation of flowers with 1 µL of control solution (containing sucrose 20% w/v diluted in sterile distilled water but no yeast added). Flowers exposed to pollinators; Direct_yeast: Inoculation of flowers with 1 µL of yeast solution (Inoculation solution prepared by suspending colonies of M. reukaufii in sterile distilled water with sucrose 20% w/v, to reach a final concentration of 2×104 cells/µL). Flowers hand-pollinated and bagged to exclude pollinator visitation; Direct_control: Inoculation of flowers with 1 µL of control solution (containing sucrose 20% w/v diluted in sterile distilled water but no yeast added).
