Descrição
Resumo:[EN] This work proposes a fault-tolerant new mode operation applied to three-phase dual active bridge dc-dc converters (CPDA3) when a transistor open-circuit fault occurs on the load-side bridge. The proposal is to modify the signals of transistor activation, in order to keep the power transfer within certain limits after reconfiguration. This approach does not introduce additional computational costs and does not require the incorporation of additional components or circuits to the original topology. The maximum power that can be transferred is larger compared to previous proposals. In addition, the output voltage ripple is significantly reduced, which allows the expected lifetime of the filter capacitors to be increased. Simulation and experimental results of a 1.5 kW prototype are presented to validate the theoretical analysis and the feasibility of the proposal.
