Sumario:[EN] his article is focused on the origins and the geometry of the convent of San Carlino alle Quattro Fontane, headquarter of the Spanish Discalced Trinitarians Order and masterpiece of the great Baroque architect Francesco Borromini, which occupied most of his career until his death in 1667. Although the complex was built in different functionally independent phases based on the available economic resources, the convent was designed by Borromini as a unit according with a geometric pattern that organizes the whole.
