Sumario:[eng] - INTRODUCTION: A lateral ankle sprain is the most common injury to the lower extremity. It can cause chronic ankle instability (CAI) in 20 to 30% of cases with an impact on public health. Surgical treatment is recommended in case of failure of conservative treatment to avoid functional sequelae. Until now, with open surgery, 2 surgical "gold standards" were practiced: repair with retinaculum augmentation called "Broström-Gould" and anatomical reconstruction with graft. - HYPOTHESIS: Surgical treatment has evolved a lot over the last decade with the development of arthroscopic techniques. Ligament repair or reconstruction can be performed arthroscopically. We hypothesize that arthroscopic treatments are safe and give an equivalent or better result than open surgery treatment. - OBJECTIVES: The aim of the thesis is to study the data of cohorts of patients with 2 years of follow-up later. Arthroscopic repair of the lateral ligaments of the ankle with retinaculum augmentation (arthroscopic Broström-Gould) and after endoscopic reconstruction of the lateral ligaments of the ankle. It is then possible to compare both data with the published literature for techniques.
