Descripción
Sumario:he thesis aims to provide a new perspective for cross-border cooperation, as a key process in the construction of European territory. With cohesion policies, border areas become key to advancing community goals. And regions and local entities became key players in achieving solid cross-border cooperation and a new framework for the relationship between territories. With the analysis of the database derived from INTERREG, as well as field work and the teroric framework, the thesis provides data that helps to map and understand the processes that derive from the cooperation, and how it responds on the one hand to European policies, but also to a large extent, to an important geopolitical component derived from the territorial project of each actor and its willingness to position itself in the European territory.
