This polarity could be seen throughout the history, especially in the study of Christ’s person and mission. To overcome the separation that breaks the unity or the unity that eradicates diversity, this article presents Christ as the mediator. Starting from the Scripture and examining the teaching of the Fathers and the theologians, the mediator is introduced as an integrating agent that serves the whole theology.La teología se encuentra con el reto permanente de presentar del modo más integrado posible las dimensiones humana y divina del misterio cristiano. La dificultad que plantea es resuelta en ocasiones, bien anulando uno de los dos elementos (normalmente el divino, aunque también en ocasiones el humano) o estableciendo una separación letal entre ellos. Esto se ha visto a lo largo de la historia especialmente en el estudio de la persona y misión de Cristo. Para superar la separación que rompe la unidad o una unidad que impide la diversidad el artículo propone a Cristo mediador. Partiendo de la Escritura y a través de los Padres y teólogos se presenta al Mediador como clave de integración que sirve para toda la teología.Servicio de Publicaciones de la Universidad de NavarraDadun.
