Sumario:After the Republican defeat in the Spanish Civil War many were forced to run away and begin a new life. Although the main number of refugees rests in France, many others searched asylum in America, primarily in Mexico. As the main condition for their reception, the President of the country those days, Lázaro Cárdenas, required the Aid Institutions, created with the economic resources of the Spanish Republic, to pay the travel, the maintenance and accomodation of the refugees during the first months in Mexico. For that reason, the Servicio de Evacuación de los Republicanos Españoles (SERE) decided to create a delegation in Mexico, the Comité Técnico de Ayuda a los Republicanos Españoles (CTARE), leaded by José Puche. This Committee received thousands of requests with the most urgent necessities and worries of the refugees. This paper has the concern to analyze part of these requests. First, we show the administrative route of the request and the administrative traces contained in the letters. Second, we analyze the main characteristics of the request. Thanks to the analysis of these requests we will know the internal functioning of the Committee and recover the history of the anonymous exiles, generally excluded in large part of the works written on this subject.
