Sumario:[EN] Growing interest is being shown in the circular economy (CE) in areas like strategic management, operations management and technology management. Moreover, governments, industry players and academia are increasingly recognizing and focusing on this concept. Adopting CE principles has become crucial for companies to sustain their competitive advantage. CE can be defined as an economic system that aims to eliminate waste and keep resources in continuous use to, thereby, minimize the consumption of raw materials and energy, and the environmental impact.
