| Sumario: | During work on the reproduction of the Red Locust (Nomadacris septemfasciata (Serville) in the Rukwa Valley, Tanganyika Territory, notes were made on the biology of the other species of Acrididae present. Much information was obtained about tue life histories and reproduction of the grasshopper species and this information throws into relief the peculiarities of the Red Locust and puts that species into perspective amongst its relatives in the same and neighbouring habitats. |
