In Vitro anticancer properties of copper metallodendrimers

Newly synthesized carbosilane copper dendrimers (CCD) with chloride and nitrate surface groups seem to be good candidates to be used as gene and drug carriers in anti-cancer therapy, due to their properties such as size and surface charge. Copper attached to the nanoparticles is an important element...

Copper attached to the nanoparticles is an important element of many biological processes and recently their anti-cancer properties have been widely examined. Zeta size and potential, transmission electron microscopy (TEM), circular dichroism (CD), analysis of haemolytic activity, and fluorescence anisotropy techniques were used to characterize copper dendrimers. Additionally, their cytotoxic properties toward normal (PBMC) and cancer (1301; HL-60) cells were examined. All tested dendrimers were more cytotoxic against cancer cells in comparison with normal cells.Comunidad de MadridAgencia Española de InvestigaciónJunta de Comunidades de Castilla-la Mancha20192019-04-18journal articlehttp://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501NAhttp://purl.org/coar/version/c_be7fb7dd8ff6fe43info:eu-repo/semantics/articleapplication/pdfhttp://hdl.handle.net/10017/37505https://dx.doi.org/10.3390/biom9040155reponame:e_Buah Biblioteca Digital Universidad de Alcaláinstname:Universidad de Alcalá (UAH)InglésengJunta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha http://dx.doi.org/10.13039/501100011698 Not available SBPLY%2F17%2F180501%2F000358 NANOSISTEMAS DENDRÍTICOS POLIFENÓLICOS: APLICACIONES EN COSMÉTICA Y BIOMEDICINAAgencia Estatal de Investigación http://dx.doi.org/10.13039/501100011033 Plan Estatal de Investigación Científica y Técnica y de Innovación 2013-2016 CTQ2017-86224-P DENDRONIZACION COMO HERRAMIENTA SINTÉTICA DE OBTENCIÓN DE NANOSISTEMAS DENDRÍTICOS ESPECIFICAMENTE DISEÑADOS PARA SU USO EN APLICACIONES BIOMÉDICASComunidad de Madrid http://dx.doi.org/10.13039/100012818 Programas de Actividades de I+D entre Grupos de Investigación de la Comunidad de Madrid en Biomedicina B2017%2FBMD-3733 INMUNIDAD TUMORAL E INMUNOTERAPIA DEL CANCERopen accesshttp://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_abf2Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessoai:ebuah.uah.es:10017/375052026-06-18T11:13:07Z
