| Sumario: | The difficulties which Secondary School and University students encounter when looking at cell samples through the microscope are explored in this paper. Students were asked to draw what they expected to see, and later to draw what they did see while performing a Laboratory activity in a classroom situation. The drawings are analysed and categorised. Some of the causes of these difficulties are discussed. |
