Descrição
Resumo:[EN] The characteristics of water (which is changeable, unstable and ambivalent) favour the early development of a rich imaginary around this element. This explains the symbolic value that water acquired in the mythology and culture of Greco-Roman antiquity. This dossier brings together a total of ten contributions in which, from different perspectives, the relevance of water in these cultures and the multiple symbolisms surrounding this element, many of which still survive, are highlighted.
