Descripción
Sumario:[EN] We present the archaeological data on La Serreta, an open-air prehistoric settlement in the Catalan precoastal plain of Penedès (Barcelona). The site is comprised of structures such as silos, tombs, ditches, and possible huts. In two successive campaigns, 89 negative structures were documented, which belong to chronologies ranging from the Early Neolithic to the Bronze Age. Data on the structures, material culture, and available radiocarbon dating are presented. At the same time, the data is contextualized within the framework of the pre-coastal plains of the northeastern Iberian Peninsula.
