Descripción
Sumario:[EN]This article offers a new insight into the concept of «fictional realism» applied to Spanish chivalric literature in the early 16th century. The analysis of Floriseo, a novel by fernando Bernal published in 1516, and specially, chapters devoted to Paramón, a queer foreign character –constructed as a religious, moral and sexual antithesis of the hero–, will be interesting in order to evaluate esthetical and ideological patterns of this work. In addition, it will give us some clues to understand the success of those fictions which were following Amadís de Gaula, as well as the modest reception of Floriseo.
