Resumo:This article analyzes the palimpsestic structure of the auto sacramental <em>El casamiento engañoso </em>by Gonzalo Torrente Ballester. Based on José Ortega y Gasset’s philosophy of technology this work rewrites diverse European as well as Spanish hypotexts. The study shows how this work, which emerged in the context of the Falange, contains, against established opinion, obvious subversive elements.
