Descripción
Sumario:[EN] This article analyzes the general panorama of the national public subsidies granted between 2008-2019 in Spain by the ICAA for the animated short film. After a brief historiographic review of the implementation of the grants for the project and a short film made, as well as the legislative evolution dedicated to promoting this format, a quantitative analysis of both subsidies for the animated film in a short format in a national perspective will be carried out. The intention is to offer a study of the situation and economic evolution of the production of short animated films in Spain in this period. The results show the close relationship between the promotion of cultural policy in that period with the level of production of these films, thus playing an important role in the consolidation of the sector thanks to the revitalization of these cinematographic filmworks promoted by this public Agency.
