Descripción
Sumario:[EN] The time of the Trastámara dynasty in Castile (1369-1504) was a historical period very conditioned by the phenomenon of war. Since the conflicts of the late fourteenth century, that allowed the triumph of Henry II and his descendants, until the civil war that put Elizabeth on the throne in the late fifteenth century, through periodic campaigns against the kingdom of Granada, the monarchy and the estates evolved largely under the necessities of war. The organization and military structures evolved in step with these conflicts and periodic civil strife resulting from the political instability, although they retained much of the above characteristics.
