Summary:This research models the factors influencing ICT innovation adoption in companies, hypothesizing a network of direct and indirect relations of factors, (consistent with TOE model), which channels influence on themselves and on ICT adoption. The hypotheses were tested using a sample of firms with ag-gregate information at the state level, and were estimated using PLS-SEM. The main results were that ICT adoption is very influenced by the extent of countries’ globalization, and the accessibility to ICT capabilities of the country due to its important transmitting role of indirect effects from the other factors. The aggregated indirect influence of factors in the model was more important than the direct influence
