| Sumario: | [EN] No one would dare to doubt that archives are one of the basic sources of information for historians, while we, archaeologists, have always been reluctant to use them. Notwithstanding, the number of researchers using documentation from archives in their papers is growing, proving that both fields are not selective; they can and must be complementary. This paper considers a point of view of Archaeology from the use of archives. We offer specific studies where the two fields have complemented each other. |
